
Automation Engineer Aveva Wonderware – TIA Siemens

Do you have experience with Aveva Wonderware software and possibly Siemens TIA, along with a passion for industrial automation? Do you thrive on variety in your projects and want to continue developing yourself in your field? We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to strengthen our project teams.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team that develops automation solutions within the process industry. You will work on engineering assignments for major clients in the pharmaceutical and other sectors. Together with the project team, you will be involved from start to finish. You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining direct contact with the client.
What will you do?
Executing software projects from start to finish:
- Monitoring and ensuring the scope of your own projects
- Preparing design specifications (FDS & SDS) in accordance with existing standards
- Implementing Aveva Wonderware SCADA solutions and, if applicable, PLC (Siemens TIA) and HMI (Unified Panels)
- Performing commissioning tests (FAT and SAT)
- Reporting project progress (planning) and key points to the Agidens lead engineer, while maintaining communication with the client regarding ongoing matters.
Who are you?
- You have experience in developing automation solutions within the process industry.
- You have knowledge of Aveva Wonderware systems.
- Knowledge of Siemens TIA (PLCs & HMIs) and Siemens HMI Unified Panels is a plus.
- You are naturally proactive, take initiative, verify sufficiently, and think in terms of solutions.
- You enjoy communicating with both colleagues and clients.
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You live in the Leiden region or the Randstad area (projects mainly in Leiden).
