Automation Engineer Rockwell

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer with knowledge of Rockwell to strengthen our project teams!

As a Senior Rockwell Engineer, you will be part of the software automation team that delivers automation solutions within the process industry. You will work in multidisciplinary project teams and be involved in all aspects of a process automation project.

What will you do?

• You contribute to drafting the functional description in consultation with the client

• You develop applications (PLC, SCADA) based on the functional description

• Together with your colleagues, you monitor the planning and flag any deviations

• You ensure the quality of your work by regularly testing the developed solutions

• You participate in internal and external testing

• Alongside the project team, you are responsible for commissioning and delivering the projects

• You help create the user manual

• You are critical of your own work and seek help when needed (technical, planning, etc.)

• You are committed to delivering high-quality results within the agreed deadlines

• You give feedback aimed at improving processes and standards

Who are you?

• You are passionate about automation

• You have solid knowledge of Rockwell RSLogix 5000 – knowledge of other PLCs is a plus

• You have strong knowledge of a SCADA system, preferably Rockwell FT View SE

• You are familiar with various fieldbus systems (e.g., Ethernet/IP)

• Knowledge of safety systems within Rockwell is an advantage

• You are solution-oriented and have strong communication skills

• You are eager to learn and enjoy working in a team

• You have at least 2 years of experience in automation solutions within the process industry

• You are fluent in Dutch and English

• You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in a technical field
