Moveable bridges
Our bridge automation experts handle the electromechanical design and construction of new moveable bridges, renew the automation system while your existing bridges remain in operation, or connect several bridges to a central command and control system. We do this for, among others, the Flemish Roads and Traffic Agency, the Ministère Wallon de l’Equipement et des Transports (MET) and the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management.

Turnkey projects
As project manager, we assume responsibility for all electromechanical works during the construction of new movable structures : mechanical installations (mechanical and hydraulic systems) and electrical installations (lighting, driving power and automation).
Working with our partners who specialise in civil (concrete) and steel structural engineering, we often assume overall project management responsibility for the construction of new movable bridges.
Renewal of automation systems
Thanks to our long-standing experience, Agidens Infra Automation is able to renew the entire bridge automation system while the bridge remains in operation. The waterway, railway or highway suffers minimal disruption during the works.
We modernise all types of movable bridges and have developed special techniques to allow railway swing bridges with end-locking devices to work up to 60% faster after carrying out conversion works.
Bridges with architectural features
More and more bridges are being given additional architectural features, which makes them harder to build and automate. In these situations you need a partner who is able to do more than just copy existing designs. For projects like these, we use new technologies and drive principles to allow the bridges to operate just as reliably as the more traditional types.
