Manufacture Belge de Chocolats (MBC) has chosen Agidens Process Automation for the implementation of MOMENTUM to integrate the entire end-to-end operations. In the heart of Brussels, in a 20.000 m² site with a diversity of production & packaging lines, the operators of MBC will be able to manage and control all internal logistics and production processes from one integrated platform. This full integration, which will be implemented in different steps, facilitates a detailed track and trace. Peter Opregt: “With the implementation of MOMENTUM, the plant manager will have a real-time view of the efficiency of the production through dashboards and will be able to make proactive decisions based on correct data and context. The synchronization of products, orders and recipes with MOMENTUM will be interfaced with AX (ERP). At the same time, MOMENTUM will send back the actual consumption, progress of orders and labour related information to the operational control service for cost calculation purposes.”
Because of the availability of aggregated data, MBC’s Continuous Improvement Department will have accurate information to support all kinds of improvement projects and measure them after implementation.
