With AHOP, Agidens developed a fully automatic solution for the dosing of solids and liquids in beer (e.g. hop pellets, powders, herbs, aromas …). These dosing installations provide answers to most of the issues of existing dry-hopping techniques and guarantee the addition of unlimited quantities of hop pellets without O2 pick-up.
Fully automatic dry-hopping unit AHOP
The complete AHOP unit, combined with AJET, can be easily integrated into the existing cold block – all without any costly modifications to the tanks or top plates. The entire AHOP unit is fully cleanable (CIP) along with the beer line or beer tank. The dosing unit works according to the dynamic dry-hopping principle and has a centrifugal pump for recirculating the contents of the tank during and after dosing. This helps to speed up the dry-hopping process and to homogenize the beer’s flavor profile.
