What will you do?
As SQL Server Database & Power BI Developer, you play a crucial role in developing and managing the database infrastructure and creating powerful reporting solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with ICT, the controlling team and other stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and improve operational efficiency.
– Designing and further implementing SQL Server databases for
data storage and management.
– Writing efficient SQL queries and procedures to extract, transform and load data (ETL).
– Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
– Collaborate with the controlling team & other business leads, to understand and translate data needs into technical solutions.
– Optimise database performance and ensure data integrity.
– Synchronising data across systems via scripting and powershell.
– Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of our reporting.
– Provide technical support to users and resolve database-related issues.
– Continue to learn and keep abreast of new developments in SQL and Power BI.
– Technical knowledge of both SQL server and Microsoft Azure are a big plus.
Who are you?
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar field.
– Minimum 3 years’ experience as a SQL Server Database Developer, with knowledge of database design and development.
– Strong skills in writing SQL queries and procedures.
– Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
– Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work well together in a team.
– Proactive and eager to learn, willing to learn new technologies.
– You are fluent in Dutch and English.
