Process & Mechanical

Mechanical Engineering
After the design of the process, we take care of the actual mechanical design of the installation, including piping and instrumentation. We take care of all the calculations, in accordance with the accepted standards and legislation within the food industry, and we select all the mechanical components required for the project.

Drawing Capabilities
We use AutoCAD Plant 3D toolset and Inventor in all our Process & Mechanical Engineering. This allows us to create models, drawings, and documentation so that the intended result is immediately visible. After the development of the process, we make detailed drawings of the installations. We use 3D design and P&IDs to provide a correct and smooth structure.

Testing & Commissioning
The testing and commissioning phase of the installation will be meticulously prepared and coordinated by specialists. In doing so, we adopt a flexible attitude in terms of production planning. Finalizing any remaining points will have our highest priority. We leave nothing to chance and remain involved until the very last phase.
Electrical & Instrumentation

E&I Engineering
Each project has an impact on the immediate production environment. We take care of all the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) modifications. Our E&I Engineers design the entire electrical installation and calculate and determine all its components. We also design the electrical cabinets in close consultation. Building, testing, and acceptance of the cabinets take place in our own workshop.

Networks
Network switches form part of complex ring topologies, with a different segment allocated to each port and any outages being absorbed to minimize any operational impact. Advanced software configurations help to anticipate any faults, misuse, or manipulation. As a one-on-one replacement could potentially disturb the ring’s operation, a disaster recovery procedure is essential.

Execution
Our E&I Engineers not only take care of the selection and calculation of all E&I elements and cabinets in the project, they also guide the implementation at the workplace or on site. Our E&I Engineers take care of the installation of all cabling and cable runs down to the connection of all the elements in the field.

Revamping
Obsolete electrical installations can cause a host of problems: the installation no longer complies with legislation, the technical file is no longer ‘As Built’ … This makes modifications or expansions to the existing installation expensive and complex. In many cases, a revamp is appropriate or even necessary.
Control software

Process Control Systems
We use process control systems such as SCADA/PLC and DCS to ensure that operators can work more effectively. They check all the relevant information about the operational business processes through a simplified user interface. In this way, the production lines are optimally controlled.

Safety Systems
The Food & Beverage industry is subject to strict safety and environmental guidelines and standards. To continuously guarantee the safe operation of the processes, there is a need for a Safety Instrumented System (SIS) or safety system in accordance with the applicable guidelines and standards.

System Integration
A reliable end product starts on the drawing board and must ensure fault-free operation. With our expertise in system integration, we streamline this entire process. From the design stage, we coordinate the various processes, parts, and sub-systems and integrate them into the whole.

Revamping
Obsolete automated software systems can cause a host of problems: software upgrades become complex and expensive, the license fees costs keep rising, system expansions are hard or no longer possible, hardware is no longer available, support is no longer guaranteed … In many cases, a revamp is appropriate or even necessary.
MES / MOMS
Manufacturing Execution Systems
With Manufacturing Execution Systems, the next step in production automation becomes a reality. This is no longer about just real-time monitoring, control, and operation of the processes, but also about optimizing the production environment based on process information.
Manufacturing Operations Management Systems
The integration of operations within a business system increases operational efficiency, but is often a difficult task. By implementing an integrated MOMS solution we ensure that the production flexibility increases, processes become transparent, and there is full traceability.
