entrepreneurial challenge? For our new Innovation organization we are looking for an experienced Data Science Manager. As Data
Science Manager you will be building out our data Center of Excellence.
Agidens builds and validates state of the art process automation installations for Energies, Chemicals, Food and Pharmaceutical manufacturers.
These processes generate thousands of data points every second, creating massive untapped potential for further insight & optimization.
The mission of our Data Center of Excellence is to help customers unlock the full potential of this data, and help them move forward.

What will you do?
- Build out the Agidens Data Center of Excellence
- Define our offering and growth strategy, together with the CTO
- Set-up partnerships with technology & service providers
- Engage with customers to identify data-related opportunities
- Identify internal opportunities to leverage data for internal processes
- Lead delivery of critical data-driven (customer-facing) projects
- Work closely with and report directly to the CTO
Who are you?
- You are a seasoned Data Science practitioner
- Hands-on experience executing data driven projects
- Well versed in most common AI/ML models and technologies
- Familiar with using modern ML frameworks
- 5+ years of experience with Data Science
- You have a keen appetite for industrial automation and validation
- Experience in data projects related to Industry 4.0 are a plus
- Interest in or experience with industrial processes
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You enjoy working in a dynamic, challenging environment
- You are pragmatic and solution oriented, you strive for impact
- You are comfortable interacting with clients and taking on commercial discussions
- You enjoy working as part of a team
- You are a proven leader
- You have multiple years of project or product leadership experience
- You have experience building out Data Science teams
- You are fluent in English or Dutch
